VIDEO CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT AND PLANNING

Last week we began looking at our concept for our video and how we were going to tell our story. We brainstormed lots of different ideas together as a group some of which were;

. Telling a timeline story of Northern Soul

.Getting and American and English person to voiceover the story of how northern soul came to the UK 

. Having someone dance down the street 

They are just a few of the different ideas we came up with for our video although none of them jumped out at us the way we wanted them to. Therefore I decided to try and storyboard something to try and think through our ideas more visually I wanted to do this because I'm shooting and editing the video and I work much better hands on. The image below is my first brainstorm of our concept which then triggered my finalised storyboard (the second image).
