GUEST LECTURE // WEEKEND STUDIOS

In yesterdays session we were lucky enough to have the two co-founders of Weekend Studios , Luis Cross and Kieron Spencer come in and give us a guest lecture. They are both 21 Manchester born creatives that offer Videography and Creative Art Direction services to different brands and artists. Below are the notes I took during their lecture.

 After their talk we were given the task of analysing one of their videos (we chose The North Face Pinnacle Project video) and breaking our opinions down into;

. Makeup and Hair
. Models and Casting

After the task we then got to ask questions and discuss with them and the whole class what we had found which was really useful to see what other people found in comparison to us. I also found it really useful having this guest lecture because it gave me an opportunity to network and learn from them , I actually asked them if they did any work experience and they said i'd be more than welcome to come and help them on shoots.
